Ag Hall Tractor Cruise -- May 7th, 2016
The Ag Hall Tractor cruise was held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 under a beautiful
sky. The rainbow of colors (tractors) made a pleasant sight as 38 tractors made
their way on a 36 mile voyage. The cruise started out at the Ag Hall (8:45 p.m.)
and began its journey to the Bonner Springs Marble Days Parade. Following the
parade, the cruise began its journey to Tonganoxie with a break at a church on
the way. A delicious ham and beans lunch was served at the Leavenworth Fair
Grounds. On the return route (Hwy 24) the cruise stopped at the Nuts and Bolts
Hardware in Bonner Springs for an afternoon break. Upon returning to the Ag Hall
a barbecue dinner was served to the travelers plus spouses who attended the
occasion. Some members were lucky enough to win a gift certificate. The Ag Hall
benefited around $4,000 from the cruise with donations still coming in. Thanks
to the Wyandotte Sheriff’s Department for providing security, Overland Tow,
helpers, and to everyone who brought a tractor for the cruise.
