89th American Royal Parade – Sept. 27, 2014

Kansas City, Missouri

It was a perfect day for the American Royal Parade on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 with many viewers along the parade route cheering everyone on.  The theme was “Honoring the Military” with a flyover of antique airplanes at the start of the parade.  Many military personnel,  Scouts, bands, floats and other organizations were part of the parade.  The GKCTCC was out in force with 23 tractors.  Following the parade the group enjoyed a trailer gate party which topped off the day’s activities.  Thanks to Bill Eagleburger for arranging the parking area, organizing the outing and purchasing the food.  Thanks to Dan Hanna for bringing the grill and being “Chef for the Day”.  Thanks also to everyone who brought desserts, etc.
