John Deere 175th Celebration -- June 8, 2012 (10789 S Ridgeview Rd, Olathe,
KS 66061)
Friday June 8ths tractor display was a huge hit! We had 15 tractors, a
beautiful day, and a warm reception. One participant advised how many times John
Deere employes, family members, and past employees told him how much they
appreciated us being there. We felt like part of the Deere and Company family.
The follow members exhibited their tractor: Harold Kurzweil (1959 730 Diesel
Std), Bob Antes (1960 530 Wide Front and 810 (3-14) Plow), Paul Antes (1959 630
Wide Front and 810 (3-14) Plow), Earl Knuth (1959 430 U and 246 2 Row Planter),
Bob Surber (1959 730 Diesel), Don Hrabik (1959 430 W and 415 (2-14) Plow), Jay
Pruett (1940 Styled B), Kenny Read (1918 Waterloo Boy, 1937 Model 62, 1958 420
I, and 1958 420 V), Glen Ratzlaff (1936 Model A and 1947 Model A), Jim Arnote
(1935 Model B), GKCTCC (1938 Model B with Cultivator), Joe Meyer (1931 Model D),
and Jack Purinton (1959 330 Std).
