February GKCTCC Meeting -- February 14, 2016, 2 PM
The first scheduled meeting for the year will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at the Trailside Center, 9901 Holmes, Kansas City, MO. (Additional parking is available across the street to the north-west of the building). During that time we plan to install a 2016 slate of officers as approved in the November 2015 meeting. The cruise committee will make a presentation on the 5th Ag Hall Tractor Cruise that is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016. We need to decide the club activities for Tractor Daze / Touch-A-Truck that will take place at the National Agricultural Hall of Fame June 3-4, 2016. Last year we had a great event on Saturday with activities that included a tractor display, two pedal tractor pulls, tractor games and a parade of power. The Ag Hall’s plan this year is to have a 2-day event (June 3-4), Saturday only for our activities: tractor show, two pedal tractor pulls, parade of power, and tractor games. (The Ag Hall will provide other activities). Other topics of discussion will include the 2016 budget, a 2016 raffle as a fundraiser, and the possibility of additional Scholarships.
