The Independence Halloween Parade was held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 (3:00 p.m.) under beautiful weather. The goblins were out in force, which made for a fun parade. Before the parade, the Glenn Ratzlaff Scholarship ($500) was awarded to Andrew Manville, grandson of Stephen Foster (one of our club members), who is presently going to the Fort Scott Community College. Ken Buell made the presentation, with Linda Ratzlaff presenting the check. Club members had around 21 tractors plus one pickup. Don Hanna pulled a wagon with extra riders and was at capacity. Thanks to everyone for participating in the parade. Hopefully, Glenn was looking down on us today and telling us to speed it up.
