June GKCTCC Meeting and Picnic -- June 2nd, 2019, 1 PM

The third scheduled meeting (and picnic) for the year will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, KS. Fourteen years ago it was decided we should have a picnic starting at 1:00 p.m. with the formal meeting beginning at 2:00 p.m. In order for the picnic not to cost the Club the following guidelines were established — Everyone who comes with the last name beginning with A to M would bring a main dish and everyone who comes with the last name starting with N to Z would bring a side dish. Since this is the 14th year the A to M last names should bring a main dish (example — fried chicken, meatballs, sandwiches, etc.) and the N to Z last names bring a side dish (example — potato salad, beans, chips, desserts, etc.). Every year we rotate the assignments. Everyone should bring his or her own drink. Paper goods will be provided. The activity will be held in the air conditioned Red Barn or Poultry Museum at the Ag Hall so everyone can enjoy the day.
