Leavenwoth County Fair Parade -- July 28th, 2015 at 6:30 PM

Several tractors were on display by mid-morning belonging to; Frank VanFleet, Lloyd Mesmer, Wes Storm, Bob Antes, and Steve Suchsland. Other tractors straggled in, including Ron Brittain and Jarvis Sackman after a blow-out on trailer enroute with tractors. Dan Hanna and Jerry Lee also were there with tractors. Don Hrabik and father figure, John, stopped by. Orschlen store manager, Steve, prepared roast wild turkey sandwiches for lunch after I had asked him to surprise us with something other than hotdogs. He did, but on wrong Tuesday, altho he still had burgers, chips and lemonade which we enjoyed. Loaded and left for parade at Tonganoxie at 6:30. In spite of hot weather the parade was well attended. A big thank you to all the participants, Steve at Orcshlens, and Ron for putting it all together.
