Heaven Calling!

I got a call from Blake today who said that his grandfather,

Bill Eagleburger, had passed away.

In making calls on Bill’s passing, I called Ray Jones

regarding his friend’s demise.

When the telephone rang a person named Larry answered the phone.

I said that I was sorry I called the wrong number.

He said, “No, this is the correct number because I am Ray’s son. 

 Ray passed away today!

He said that is so weird because he was trying to call Bill

 to let him know that Ray passed away today.

Isn’t it ironic that two friends who died the same day will

meet again as the result of cancer.

Bill Eagleburger, 82, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 21, 2018 at home. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Friday, December 28, 2018 at Abundant Life Church, Lee’s Summit, MO. 

Graveside services will follow the funeral service at Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Abundant Life Church, Lee’s Summit, MO.

Mr. Eagleburger was born May 23, 1936 in Marshfield, MO.

He was preceded in death by mother and father, Lema and Orville, wife Donna, siblings; Glen Eagleburger, Dennis Eagleburger, 

Catherine Kelly, Charles Eagleburger, Zela Ramey, and Sue Mallard. Survivors include siblings; Dean Eagleburger, Lloyd Eagleburger, 

Shirley Farrell, Larry Eagleburger, and Max Eagleburger, children Bruce and Gayle Eagleburger, and Brent and Caren Eagleburger, 

grandkids; Kent and Megan Eagleburger, Megan and Ryan Ruble, Whitney Eagleburger, Mallory Eagleburger-Stewart, 

Blake and Hannah Eagleburger, Morgan Eagleburger and James Eagleburger, and great grandkids; Maelle, Luke, Carson, Mack, and Grant.
