Greetings from the president

In the last 30 days we have had two great club activities.  The first 
was our tractor pulls.  The pedal pull provided fun for a lot of kids 
thanks to Don and Bob Antes.  Our lawn tractor pull had more hooks 
than previous years; so, it ran until about 5:00. It was pretty hot , 
but went well.  The large tractor pull had fewer hooks this year ; 
but, it was so well organized and smoothly run, we were done by 2:00.  
That should bring more people back next year.  We also had a lot of 
tractors for a really good show.  THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED!

Last thursday 8/9/12 a group of us went to the Missouri State Fair (my 
first time).  We met at Lone Jack and formed a long caravan to 
Sedalia.   We paraded 23 tractors and one gator.  The route was 
crowded especially with little kids.  I think we all had a good time.  
Many of  us had dinner together before we headed home.  To top it ll 
off, we won FIRST PLACE in the agriculture category.  CONGRATS TO ALL 
PARTICIPANTS!
