Missouri State Fair Parade - August 8, 2013

Sedalia, Missouri

The Missouri State Fair Parade took place in Sedalia, Mo. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.  The weather was ideal with the temperatures in the 80s which made it favorable for the participants and the large crowd.  This year the fair committee had the group of 11 tractors and the gator park and unload on the fairgrounds--the parking area as in the past was not available due to new construction.   Club members bringing tractors included:  Jack Stevenson (1), Mike Corum (1), Joe Steineger (1), Harold Kurzweil (4), Bill Eagleburger (1 and Gator) and Jim and Jared Arnote (2).  Don Hrabik rode along with Joe as his eyes, ears and bodyguard – Joe loved the parade being there for the first time with the club.  Following the parade a few had dinner before heading out.  Thanks to everyone who brought tractors and to Crystal for driving the gator.

P.S.--The club was notified on Saturday that they won 1^st place.(Blue ribbon and $100) at the parade.  WOW!!!
