Western Farm Show - February 24-26, 2012

Kansas City, Mo.

The Western Farm Show was held on Friday thru Sunday, February 24-26, 2012 at the Governors Building in Kansas City, Mo.  Our theme this year was tractors with implements.  Many took advantage of the good weather and attended Friday and Saturday.  Sunday the attendance was somewhat lighter.  The club display consisted of the following:  1938 JD  B with cultivator, 1959 JD 430 U with planter, a variety of toys with attachments, pictures, flowers, photo albums and a video display along with many hand outs.  Many people enjoyed seeing the vintage tractors -- bringing back many memories.  One visitor to our booth asked for a special request.  She wanted to feel one of the toy tractors in the toy case because she had never seen a tractor -- yes, she was blind.  It was very rewarding to see her touch and feel the tractor all over very carefully.
