Olathe Old Settlers Parade - September 8, 2018 at 10 AM
The Johnson County Old Settlers Day Parade was scheduled for a cool and wet Saturday, September 8th, 2018, starting at 10 AM. The JCOSP is the largest parade in the state of Kansas. It has an average of 160 entries, including 16 area High School and Middle School bands, numerous club and organization entries and several commercial floats. The parade is attended by between 65,000 and 75,000 people. This years theme was “Love & Peace- A look back to the 60's”. There were two brave member families to come out and endure the cool damp weather: VP - Jon Pirie on his 1949 JD model MT and President - Justin Read (and Dalamar controlling the wheel) on their 1941 JD model H.
