Nov. 5 Adrian, MO, GKCTCC Meeting, 1:00 p.m., Heritage Tractor. We are changing the location and format this year. We will have the meeting in the meeting room above the parts department at Heritage Tractor. We will not have the picnic or auction at this years event.

Sept. 9 Olathe, KS. Old Settlers Day Parade. Parade Starts 10 AM. Jon Pirie 913-238-2505. The Greater KC Two-Cylinder club is registered for one of the largest parades in the State of Kansas - the Johnson County Old Settlers Parade held in downtown Olathe, KS. The parade begins at 10 AM, however the club will need to be in place on the parade route by 9 AM. Club members can meet and unload tractors at Northview Elementary School located at 900 N. Woodland St, but must be prepared to move toward the parade staging area by 8 AM. Questions can be directed to Jon Pirie at 913-238-2505.
Sept. 8-10 Ottawa, KS. Antique Tractor & Engine Show. 785-418-2190 featuring Deere Tractor & Engines. It is the 28th Annual Power of the Past Antique Engine & Tractor Show, held at Forest Park, 302 North Locust, Ottawa, KS. Join the GKCTCC on Tuesday, July 25th in Tonganoxie, KS for the
Leavenworth County Fair Parade. We will meet at the Tonganoxie High
School Football field (State Ave and Main St) at 5:30 PM and leave to
line up by 6:00 PM. The parade starts at 6:30 PM.
Join the GKCTCC on Saturday, July 22nd, 8 AM – 3 PM at the Ag Hall of
Fame in Bonner Springs, KS for the Show-N-Shine Car, Truck, and Tractor
Show.

The Club is registered to participate in the Lenexa Community Days
4th of July Parade. Club parking/meeting location is set for the P1
Group Inc
parking lot located at 13605 W. 96 Terr (SW corner of 96 Terr and Pflumm,
due south across 96 Terr from VFW Post 7397). The parade starts at 10
AM so we will need to be parked, unloaded and prepared to move to our

Long time member and former Club President, Don Hrabik passed away
May 27th. The celebration of life is schedule for June 24th at Amos
Family Funeral Home, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203. Visitation
at 10 am, Memorial at 11 am.

HISTORY
The Greater Kansas City Two-Cylinder Club was organized in January 1990 and
was incorporated in the State of Missouri on May 17, 1994. The purpose of
the club is to promote the interest and education of the public in the
preservation and restoration of antique tractors, particularly the JOHN
DEERE two-cylinder models, their accessories, lore, literature, toys and
memorabilia.
OTHER INFORMATION OF INTEREST
The club manages a tractor pull at Farm Heritage Days at the National
Agriculture Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The club
also has fun-field days along with participating in the American Royal
Parade, The Dream Factory Tractor Cruise, and Western Farm Show
every year. We meet several times through out the year to exchange ideas
and information. A newsletter is produced regularly to communicate with the membership.
The Greater Kansas City Two Cylinder Club covers Eastern Kansas and
Western Missouri, and has members not only from the Kansas City area,
but areas from St Joseph, MO to Nevada, MO to Topeka, KS.
